To start trading in options, open the web platform and select ‘US stock exchanges’.

Select the options from the instrument list on the panel below.

From the list of underlying assets, pick the one you want to trade

and select the expiration date.

The list of available options will appear on the options board. Strikes are displayed in the centre. On the left are the best buy and sell prices for a CALL option, on the right are the best buy and sell prices for a PUT option.

Please select the desired option by clicking on the options board.

Selling options involves huge potential risks. Therefore, to protect your investment, you may only buy options and sell those previously bought.

To make a trade, specify the desired volume and order type – market or limit. Then place a trading order and confirm its submission to the exchange.

The option price is given per stock, but trading takes place in lots. One lot comprises 100 stocks. Therefore, you should multiply the Option Premium (option price) by 100.

The mobile app

To start trading in options through the mobile app, go to ‘Quotations’ and find the desired stock.

Go to the security card. If an option is available for such security, under the diagram, you will see a widget, clicking which will take you to the option card.

To make a trade, select the desired option (‘Grow’, if you expect the stock price to grow, or ‘Fall’ if you expect it to fall). Thus, you select the option type you are going to buy: Call if you expect an increase, and Put if you expect a decrease.

Select the option strike and expiry date and proceed to placing the order by clicking the respective button in the bottom of the screen.

The option price is given per stock, but trading takes place in lots. One lot comprises 100 stocks. Therefore, you should multiply the Option Premium (option price) by 100.

Select the order type – market or limit (1). If a limit order is selected, specify the contract price (2). Then specify the quantity (3), place a trading order and confirm its submission to the exchange.
